Senior Front End Developer for Web Applications (competitive salary, depending on experience)

A position has opened in a multi-award winning internet company for a talented and motivated lead front-end developer to work on next-generation B2B web applications.

The role requires a committed and flexible Front End Developer to implement rich web interfaces for a trading platform. You will be a part of the New Product Development team in West London.

Essential Skills:

· Strong HTML & CSS skills and ability to work with designer to realise concepts from Photoshop. Must be an expert in hand-coded, cross-browser HTML.

· Expertise and experience using JavaScript, both from scratch and using the JQuery library to create complex interactive experiences. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of common JavaScript design patterns. Knowledge of RequireJS is a plus.

· Knowledge of PHP 5 (loops, conditionals, etc)

· Experience developing with Zend or another MVC framework.

· Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility and other important principles of web development.

· High-levels of attention to detail and a passion for creating the best user experience.

· Ideally, 4+ years experience in front-end web development with 1+ years in a high-profile company.
