Software Developer - Front End (HTML CSS)

Package: Up to £30,000 pa (DOE) + Bonuses + Benefits Package

Ratio is a young and rapidly expanding affiliate network specialising in the finance vertical. We pride ourselves in enabling our affiliates to deliver an incredible service to their customers and to run super-efficient campaigns by leveraging some really clever, bespoke software that we make at our studio in Bournemouth.

Due to our continued expansion we’re looking for a Front End (HTML/CSS) Developer to come and join our team. This is a progressive role where the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop their skills whilst working alongside an experienced team of software engineers. Training and support will be given where required but we expect our new recruits to push themselves, self-learn and to be making a real impact within a short period of time.

Responsibilities

Own, create and constantly work to improve user-facing websites.

Your team
Play an active part in the development of the business, transcending your role as an engineer to translate business needs into well defined and scoped functionality.

Frictionless delivery of an affiliate network
Work as part of the team who own our online interaction with affiliates, from the sign up, through integration to the execution of campaigns.

Analytics
At the heart of Ratio offering lies a suite of realtime analytics which rely on complex the elegant presentation of data to inform our affiliates and to drive improvement of their performance. You will be part of the team responsible for the creation, continual improvement and innovation of this area of the business.

Requirements

You have a track record demonstrating a mastery in the application of typography, colour, imagery, web furniture and forms.
You have strong computer science fundamentals gained from a bachelor’s degree in computer science, HCI or UX.
You can send me personal projects which demonstrate your aptitude for delivering high-quality interfaces.
You have the ability to work in areas outside of your usual comfort zone and get things done quickly.
Bonus skills

Experience in working in a PHP and/or MSSQL production environment.
A working knowledge of other markup languages.
