Our client based in Northampton is a Sector leading UK FTSE 250 Plc and are one of Britain's Top Employers.

Main Purpose of the Job

Develop, maintain and support systems in accordance with IT project plans and standards to support the business goals and strategy.. This is working in an area (Product Information Management Team ) responsible for their Web based catalogue branding and this is mainly data not design . Needs someone confident dealing with internal people within the company at a high level , senior managers and the like . Ideally you will come from a Product Data background .

We are currently recruiting for a developer to join their Product Information Management Team based within their extensive IT department in Northampton Head office.

The main purpose of this role is to develop and maintain systems in accordance with IT project plans and standards to support the business.

Primarilay focused on product data management the developer in this role will become a subject matter expert in this field, responsible for supporting the business in the development and management of new and existing product data related IT Systems.

Main technologies used will include C#, ASP.NET, SQL and HTML.

What Are We Looking For?

You will be educated to A Level or Degree standard and have a commercial software development background with practical knowledge of developing business logic, database procedures, and web technologies.

As well as a methodical and logical approach to programming and excellent planning and organisational abilities, you must be comfortable communicating with users at all levels of the business.
