Head of Application Development - C# .NET

Source Team are working in partnership with a well name house hold brand who are looking for an experienced software professional to lead & manage their developing and delivering the application development lifecycle. You will manage all areas of the software development life cycle including requirements assessment, functional design, application implementation, testing and verification and on-going maintenance & provide on-going design expertise for all existing in-house applications.

With a big focus on functional improvements, you will be accustomed to managing mission critical applications and have strong business analysis skills.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Experience of managing hands on developers either directly or via a 3rd party
A background in .Net development environment
Expertise in OO programming (C#, Java, PHP)
An understanding of Microsoft Software Architecture principles
Ability to write functional job specifications and ensure that all all application development processes are clear, documented & controlled
Knowledge of SQL/Oracle or another RDBMS This truly is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable, market leading business at the forefront of technology.
