VB. NET Developer

We require a developer to supplement the resources of the existing .NET development team within the IT department. The team is responsible for a number of bespoke .NET applications notably the in-house EPOS system currently used in over 60 Mamas and Papas retail stores.

As a .NET developer you will be reporting to the IT Development Team Leader and will be responsible for:

•Developing high quality business applications using VB .NET
•Unit testing new and amended programs
•Providing support to user acceptance testing
•Providing third line support for applications both in and out of hours

The ideal candidate will possess the following key skills:

•Windows-based application development using VB .NET (C# considered)
•SQL Server programming (T-SQL)
•A good understanding of relational database design and object-oriented programming
