A French Speaking Technical Support Engineer is required by large Enterprise Software Company to provide support to customers, primarily in the EMEA region. The role involves documenting customer issues, taking ownership of the issue, researching and resolving, and guiding customers on upgrades and general system usage.
Duties will include:
*Logging incoming calls and emails from French and English speaking customers
*Supporting Customers
*Provide consultation, diagnosis, escalation, status reporting and resolution implementation to reported problems
*Investigate problem situations to determine appropriate method of resolution;
*Investigate reported problems and defects at a detailed level, to enable developers to easily reproduce and fix software defects
*Co-ordinate inclusion of software repairs in patches with developers
*Provide Technical direction and advice regarding the implementation of software upgrades and coordinate installations
*Liaise with Project Managers to ensure implementation projects receive the necessary support
The French Speaking Technical Support Engineer will have the following skills/experience:
*Degree level education in computer science or equivalent
*Demonstrable diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in an application support environment
*Fluent French and English speaking
*Experience withOracle database at operator level
*Knowledge or understanding of real-time software systems
*Experience of using either Oracle SQL, Salesforce or WebEx
*Strong Excel and PowerPoint, able to deliver client presentations
*Understanding of utilities and telecommunications would be beneficial
