REGIONAL INFORMATION SECURITY CONSULTANT
Our client, a leading IT serivces and solutions firm, is looking to recruit a Regional Information Security Consultant.
DESCRIPTION
This role is responsible for driving effective governance in the organisation to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the organisations information assets.
The Information Security Officer will be required to develop and execute regional Information Security policies, processes and procedures. He / she will be expected to attain and exceed regional target for ensuring business continuity and information security management. As such the Information Security Officer will be expected to work with the EU IT Director to maintain Information Security certification and optimise resilience within the IT systems and the procedures for handling and reporting on breaches in information security across the business. To achieve this the Information Security Officer will be required to develop, maintain and ensure compliance of information systems usage policies and procedures.
Experience & Knowledge
Internationally recognized Degree (preferable) with extensive experience in Consulting and Professional Service environment within the IT Services sector.
A good knowledge of information security best practices. A professional Information Security certification would be highly beneficial, e.g. CISSP, CISM.
Successful track record of IT Consulting Service or Professional Services ensuring on time / on budget delivery, Client satisfaction and results through a matrix organization.
Strategic thinking and planning skills with financial and business acumen. Commercial and legal knowledge to guide regional teams on profitable business in line with the Authority Matrix.
Significant experience in information security and achieving information security accreditations from organizations such as ISO.

Strong written and verbal communications, including interviewing, workshop facilitation, report generation and presentation
The ability to operate effectively in an environment where there are a number of competing pressures, including managing stakeholder expectations, resetting of expectations, budgetary and governance constraints.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong technical knowledge in Information Security.
Experience in project management would be highly beneficial.
