1st/2nd Line Support Technician
Support Technician required with a high level of technical knowledge of Microsoft products. You will be a good communicator at all levels, with analytical ability and accuracy skills, and must be focused on delivering to designated dead lines to meet users expectations. The role will entail logging calls, and managing customer calls through to resolution, involving 1st/2nd line fault diagnosis and fault escalation if necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one years experience in a Customer Service /1st and 2nd line support environment. Ensure procedures are followed and evidence recorded, with a view to continually improving and adding to the existing processes.
Essential Technical Skills
Experience of 1st/ 2nd Line Support by telephone to UK and European sites and desk side.
Experience of supporting and building, Desktops and Laptops, Blackberry devices, iPhones and iPADs
Knowledge and experience of supporting Windows 2003/2008 and Active Directory
Knowledge and experience of supporting Citrix, Remote Access
Knowledge and experience of supporting Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
Friendly telephone manner
Ability to deal effectively with users at all levels
Ability to work in a team
Escalate problems where necessary to 3rd line support
Any Networking knowledge (Routers, Switches, Firewalls) would be an added bonus
