Liability Negotiations Advisor

A Liability Negotiations Advisor is required for existing and proposed infrastructure projects. You will be required to negotiate directly with landowners, professional advisers, local authorities, and utilities companies. You will have a good understanding about access and rights of way. You will provide statutory and contractual advice relating to assets, and provide advice to stakeholders. You will negotiate with external parties to reduce liabilities and also assist with Transport of Work Act submissions, and contribute towards resolution and objection information. You will provide support to draft legislation and statutory consultations. Your knowledge will include legal issues surrounding unauthorised and unlawful activities by land owners or occupiers. Knowledge of the railways and rail infrastructure projects would be of interest.

You will receive a daily rate of £150 and your contract will last until September 2012. You will be located in the central London offices.
