Our client are Leaders in the Water Industry and form part of a large multi disciplined international Company, which is listed on the Dow Jones US stock market.

They currently operate in Waste Water and CCTV providing flow measurement services, camera surveys and equipment supplies.

As the Purchasing and Stores Manager, you will support the business and their sister company through the management of the provision of products, assets, vehicle and equipment necessary to support the operation.

Supervising a team of up to 12 staff, you will complete stores and workshop operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; maintaining staff by recruiting, selecting and training and developing employees and managing their performance. Achieving financial objectives by preparing budgets and minimising overhead expenditure, you must ensure the availability of equipment and services by approving and managing contracts (including cost and lead times) and maintaining inventories.

You will formulate bill of material costs by reviewing part costs and studying trends and must manage the maintenance of all commercial premises and vehicle fleet and their relationships with third parties for lease and maintenance.

Candidates for this role will have extensive logistics / stores management experience with the ability to organise effectively while remaining customer focused and financially aware. Able to build strong relationships with Vendors and clients, you will be highly results driven with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A CIPS qualification and financial systems experience are both preferred.
