QUALITY ENGINEER

The Company: A well established and growing global company currently recruiting due to expansion.

The Role: To undertake all quality related activities and act as a main point of contact for the customer, regarding quality related matters. Tasks will include:

• Apply the APQP process to new product introduction initiatives
• Use problem solving techniques to resolve product related issues
• Support the business audit programme, including external audits
• Provide expertise and guidance to promote ‘First time’ quality
• Continually develop processes and systems to support the quality function
• Drive change and improvement activities to optimise manufacturing processes and procedures with respect to quality

The Candidate:

• Ideally Degree/HND/HNC qualified in a Mechanical Engineering or related subject
• Previous quality engineering experience, including the use of APQP, FMEA and SPC tools is highly desirable
• Has a working knowledge of Quality and environmental standards TS16949 and ISO 14001

This position will be of interest to candidates currently working as a Graduate Quality Engineer/ Junior Quality Engineer/ Quality Engineer/ Senior Quality Engineer etc.

Location: South West

Salary: To £32K
