Description

Job Summary:

• Oversee the day to day operation of the Production Plant Facility and all associated Sub Assembly Processes .
• Recruitment of key personnel, including Technical leaders.
• Support “Start up” goals and objectives for Production and set action plans to achieve them.
• Lead dedicated teams to ensure effective implementation of equipment, manpower, training and quality.
• Assist in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the Production Business Plan and TQM Monthly reporting
• Establish a stable and sustaining organization in Production.
• Set selection criteria, plan and recruit Associate Manpower to meet future mass production requirements
• Effective liaison with support departments and external organisations to ensure business plan KPI’s are achieved
• Support Mass Production KPI’s for Efficiency, OEE, Manpower, Quality, RFT, 5S. and implement plans to achieve stable threshold .
• Maintain positive working atmosphere
o Management of associates including Discipline, attendance, and enforcement of company policies.
o Ensure effective Associate development and involvement
• Provide leadership to dedicated teams to ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.

Person Specification:
Essential:
• Previous Managerial experience at Supervisor or Technical Leader Level.
• Good communication and man management skills.
• Proven record of achieving through people and systems.
• Computer literate.
Desirable:
• Previous experience in a shift organisation
• Automotive / Manufacturing Experience, although the ability to lead and develop Associates is the essential factor.
• Previous experience of setting and monitoring of goals and performance.
• Experience of working autonomously and through teams.
• The desire to develop an organization from concept through to maturity in a short space of time.
• Experience in Seat Assembly or weld environment especially with MIG Automated robots.
