Production Controller

Continued success & expansion for this leading chemical manufacturer has led to a need for a number of Production Controllers for one of their Divisions.

The role carries responsibility for developing, maintaining and managing production systems to optimise capacity in order to meet production forecasts / targets. Working extensively with technical, engineering & production staff you will also monitor & improve efficiency & yield.

Knowledge & experience in production planning & control is a pre-requisite (MRP / ERP etc) as is knowledge of plant capacity, process time measurement and the planning / organisation of both labour & plant to meet output targets. It is also expected that you will have a degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar, possess good communications skills, excellent IT skills. Any knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or six sigma will add weight to your application.
