Development Engineer

Just Recruitment are currently seeking a Development Engineer to work for our local client.

The successful candidate will be providing a systematic approach to product design and development
and providing major contributions to design activities for new products or re-designs, working closely with design engineers. You will be developing and documenting initial assembly processes and building & testing prototypes/initial samples while liaising with the manufacturing team. Failure analysis of product to improve yield and performance will also be a key element.

You will ideally have a Science or Engineering discipline/background with knowledge of process and/or product development in a high technology manufacturing environment. Hands-on capabilities with a pragmatic approach and excellent attention to detail as well as having a highly structured approach to development & project management with excellent follow through.
