It's a fascinating, complex matrix, involving management of international benefit plans and liabilities; liaison with benefits and pensions specialists, actuaries and senior associates; adjustments for staff moving country; and calculations for leavers, not to mention relationships with a whole host of business units, at home and overseas.

The complexity of international pensions and actuarial concepts will provide the sort of challenge you thrive on. But in a different, more fast-moving environment than you might have expected. Action-orientated and committed to personal learning with a clear customer focus, you'll need the following to be successful in this International Benefits Accountant role:

a formal FINANCIAL accounting qualification, underpinned by strong numerical skill and ideally gained within a professional services background,
strong IT skills, mental agility and the ability to learn fast
to deal confidently with all levels of management
the ability to deal with ambiguity.
