Sales Support - IT Industry

Working for this leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, you will be responsible for managing quotes and orders for the main vendors, covering both Products and Services.
Working in partnership with Sales across the business, you will keep up-to-date with vendor pricing models and mechanisms. Working closely with the major key vendors, you will ensure that all quotations are highly competitive, maximising the margin potential. Maintaining knowledge on vendor / distribution promotions /incentives, you will also ensure any relevant services are added, i.e. support, maintenance and software, managing multivendor request in order to consolidate the customer quotation.
With strong mathematical / analytical / IT skills (Excel essential), you will have solid experience of working in a fast-paced, commercial environment where you will have built and maintained relationships with vendors and partners and be confident in your dealings with demanding customers. Self-motivated and driven, you will be sales and margin focused with the ability to listen, understand and interpret customer's needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a genuine desire to ensure that your client receives the 'best deal'; knowledge of SAP desirable.
