Insurance Sales Advisor

This well established multiple insurance broker based in Surrey, are looking for a new motor insurance sales account manager to join them further to a current member of staff moving on to pastures new.

This is a customer facing role which will involve dealing with enquiries regarding motor insurance via face to face contact and over the phone, providing quotes, pro-active chasing of the business to close the sale once the quotes have been provided, following up prior to the insurance renewal date, and after sales care.

The successes of the staff are acknowledged and rewarded with pay rises not necessarily being limited to annual increases. It is also noteworthy that training in order to obtain the recognised Certificate of insurance is financed and that every support is given to those sales people wishing to study further.

My client is looking for people who are looking for a career path within insurance.

Applicants will not have necessarily come from an insurance background, but may have worked in some other front facing position i.e. that of a bank or within retail; most notably if coming from retail, selling a service i.e. estate agency, travel agency, book-makers, are all backgrounds that existing staff have.

Candidates must have a mature and confident approach and be good at dealing with the general public and comfortable selling on a face to face basis.

It is important that applicants are bright, switched on and enthusiastic with an aptitude for being good at sales and providing a high level of customer service.

Paying £18k - £21k pa (up to £25k with insurance experience)
Please note that this position requires working approx 3 in 5 Saturday mornings 8.30 until midday.
