Travel Consultant

As one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, our client provides luxury, tailor-made holidays online. They are looking for a Travel Consultant to join their team in Bolton.

Based in Bolton, not far from Horwich Park Train Station, it is commutable from Bury, Prestwich, Whitefield, Rochdale, Heywood, Middleton, Salford, Swinton, Manchester, Wigan, Westhoughton and Leigh.

You will ideally come from a travel agency background, with some travel experience preferably long haul i.e. Dubai, Thailand, Maldives, South Africa and the Indian Ocean.

As a Travel Consultant you will:
• Liaise with clients, advise and act accordingly on all travel related queries and reservations, in accordance with company standards via any communication method including on-line
• Liaise with suppliers on client’s, checking availability, negotiating suitable rates and advising of special requirements
• Ensure correct and timely issuing of tickets to comply with IATA regulations
• Ensure all changed or cancelled travel arrangements are re-issued, cancelled and refunded as per company standard
• Provide advice on passport, visa, health and security requirements

Ideally you will currently be working as a Travel Consultant, Business Travel Consultant, Travel Reservations Advisor or a Sales Consultant.

In return for your hard work and dedication you will be offered a generous package that includes:
• £15000 basic wage plus uncapped bonus (first year OTE is £23000 - £24000)
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
• 1 weekend in 4 Company pension scheme
• Shifts (8.30 – 5pm/9.30 – 6pm/10.30 – 7pm/11.30 – 8pm) a week of each
• Progression to a Personal Travel Consultant
