The position for Telesales Manager in Ascot is no longer available
You will lead and motivate team of sales professionals which consists of 5 telesales executives and 2 Account Managers (managing renewals).
In your capacity as a Manager, you will be required to take on a range of supervisory responsibilities, including motivating staff, ensuring targets are met, coaching staff, performance management and interviewing for new staff as and when necessary. One very important element of this role is to put new processes into place and ensure they are followed.
From a sales perspective, you will target new clients and generate sales using effective telesales techniques and 'benefit-driven? product demonstrations. You will also personally, and through the team, target existing clients at appropriate times to ensure a high renewal rate and to increase average order values. You and your Account Managers will also provide on-going support for the existing customer base.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
*Achievement of team new business revenue targets & renewal revenue targets
*Achievement of team non-financial objectives, eg. outgoing calls, effective calls, meetings, product demonstrations
*Monitoring team performance against revenue targets, proposing &/or taking remedial actions where necessary, ensuring all standards & expectations are met
*Attendance at relevant networking conferences and manning exhibition stands
*On and off the desk coaching of staff to ensure all team members are selling the product in the most effective manner
*Monitoring staff activity and motivating / encouraging staff to exceed expectations
*Organise sales meetings/weekly conference calls
*Carrying out regular 121?s and performance reviews
Effective selling to clients face to face and over the phone, ensuring a detailed need-find approach and benefit-focused online demonstrations via web conferencing tools.
*Effective need finding to generate leads for consulting services
*Developing and maintaining first-class client relationships with your clients, offering a consistently excellent standard of service
*Producing well written, professional and consistent material for clients, whether emails, letters or proposals
*Maintaining sales activity data in the CRM, ensuring that all enquiries are progressed to conclusion to achieve revenue targets and KPI?s
*Communicating regularly with team and other departments to ensure all knowledge is shared
*Ensuring high standards of professionalism and integrity at all times
*Providing weekly and ad-hoc team / personal reporting on progress & activity
*Help maintain and update processes and procedures, whilst ensuring all team members understand procedures and processes and be able to demonstrate these in line with agreed standards.
*Interviewing for new staff members as necessary
*2 years Line-management experience of an internal telesales team
*Strong sales and telesales background with proven track-record of delivering new business revenue
*Ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate success in managing and growing existing accounts
*Management skills, including prior experience of coaching, motivating, performance management and interviewing
*Self-motivated & pro-active approach to sales
*Professionalism & confidence when dealing with clients
*Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
*Strong organisational skills ensuring a systematic and rigorous approach to client management
*Able to work well in a team environment
*Computer literacy and accurate keyboard skills
