OTE £35Kpa (however uncapped commission some staff do earn and OTE of £50Kpa)

Main Tasks

1.To provide insurance quotations to prospective clients in a polite and friendly manner
2.To obtain the necessary information from the customer with regard to himself and the vehicle including insurance history
3.Obtain details of last insurer for proof of no claims bonus
4.To provide the customer with all the relevant information about the proposed policy
5.To inform the customer about methods of payment and charges
6.To input all information correctly on to every screen on the computer system
7.To ensure the customer has a reference number plus a name and number for future reference
8.To sell additional features
9.To close the sale
10.To issue a covernote and confirmation of cover with a proposal form
11.To participate in a roster of late evening and weekend working
12.To assist administration staff in the event of queries
13.To deal with misquotes and questions on a daily basis
14.To ensure cover is granted from the required date and replaced immediately if unacceptable to insurers
15.Refer quotes outside your authority to the appropriate person for consideration
16.Assist in the training of new staff
17.Log potential leads and follow them up
18.Provide the sales manager with details of losses to competitor insurers
19.Attend appropriate motor shows representing the company
20.Attend sales and office meetings and training
