The company specialises in producing antibodies used for detection of certain cancers and other serious disorders and this position relates to its unique and significant products for haematological malignancies.
Your primary task is to deliver educational seminars for both internal staff and the company's customers (clinicians and laboratory staff), with future opportunity to participate in overseas lecture tours. You will also help to develop relationships with key opinion leaders working closely with Clinical R&D, Sales, Marketing and Technical Services.
Your duties will also include
Managing clinical studies, providing direction and data analysis
Responding to technical and clinical enquiries
Review of in-house and promotional documentation including writing publications at a peer reviewed standard To be an effective Scientific Affairs Manager you will need to be qualified to PhD in a relevant discipline, ideally biased towards immunology and be able to work independently and part of a fast moving team. An outstanding written and oral communicator you have experience of scientific writing with bibliographic software experience and ability to critically appraise scientific publications. You will need to be flexible and able to travel international, including the Middle East, have a full UK driving licence and a valid passport; a second European language will be an asses but is not essential.
