Based in Walton Thames the clinic is currently recruiting for an experienced band 7 occupational therapist to provide a paediatric based service within a special needs school on a permanent contract.

The clinic is a private Paediatric Occupational Therapy practice based in the south east of England, offering a comprehensive assessment and therapy service for children 0 - 16 years through fun, education and play.

They specialise in supporting children with Developmental Co-ordination Disorder (DCD), Dyspraxia, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Developmental Delay, Learning difficulties, Attention Deficit (ADD / ADHD), Dyslexia, Visual Perceptual Deficit and Physical Impairment.

Your role will require you to deliver in areas including-
* Fine and Gross motor skills
* Visual perception
* Sensory Processing
* Handwriting
Report writing -
* Full assessment
* School transition
* Review / summary

The post is a fulltime position opening hours are 8.30am – 18.30pm so they would consider a candidate interested in working four/five days (if one day was a Saturday) or even full time over four long days (including Saturday’s).
Ideally the y would like someone to start the 10th April after the Easter Holidays.

To qualify for this role you must have proven experience working with children and young adults with described conditions also have a sensory level 1&2 training be confident working as independent OT in the clinic and currently registered with the HPC.
