SALES DIRECTOR - LABWARE
Company: SciLabware is a profitable manufacturer of glassware and laboratory plastic
Salary: negotiable + package and excellent OTE
SciLabware is a profitable leading manufacturer of reusable glassware and laboratory plastics with some highly recognisable brand names (Pyrex, Quickfit, Azlon) and a successful history. In 2011 the business became part of the DURAN Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of borosilicate glass.
This is a highly strategic role to fully address all channels available for the full product portfolio in UK, Continental European and ROW markets. It will demand strong leadership and performance management, a keen eye for business (channel) development and astute tactical implementation.
Principle responsibility will be the evolution of a market strategy with respect to certain markets and product portfolio including especially:
Increased focus on manufactured products
Investment and development of successful Brands
Realisation of synergies between the parent and UK companies relating to channel management
Direct management of a UK Sales Team and development and responsibility for a sales operation in France To be seriously considered for this role you must be a proven International Sales Manager with clear ability to think strategically, develop action plans and successfully put them into practice. A charismatic individual, you manage team performance through motivation and clear guidance; your past success gives you the gravitas to lead by example.
Your personal sales success (with proven results) will be in the volume products, rather than capital markets and need not be in the laboratory sector. Your international experience includes effective management of Distributors and other sales channels with significant ability to develop and nurture business with key partners.
A hard working, ambitious self-starter, you are well organised and flexible enough to travel internationally as required. You have a non-political outlook and a personality able to relate to people at all levels from your colleagues to customer CEOs and product end users.
Your reward will be a salary ~£60k p.a. with an OTE of 30%. Company car and contributory pension scheme.
