* Job Description

This is a multi surgery practice accommodating dentists with expertise in each specialist branch of dentistry thus all referrals are treated 'in house'. Although the practice has a contract with the PCT to provide NHS dentistry the practice also provides a huge proportion of private dentistry and has developed its own private capitation scheme. This ensures that dentists within the practice have the ability to provide more complex and rewarding treatments and supplement their income substantially.

The practice has an excellent reputation both locally and regionally and is extremely well organised and structured with spacious surgeries, equipped to an exceptionally high standard. Dentists are also supported by an excellent management team with a defined strategy for the future of dentistry, safeguarding their staff and the longevity of the practice. In addition there is a superb administration team and qualified and experienced support staff, recruiting only the best dental nurses, administrators and receptionists ensuring that clinicians have nothing to concern them except treating their patients. The practice also boasts separate waiting areas which are designed with comfort and relaxation in mind with drink facilities, and televisions in order to relax patients before their treatment.

* The Candidate

We are seeking a dentist that is both productive and quality driven and has the confidence and experience to deliver NHS treatment to an established well maintained list of patients, in addition to experience of providing private treatments in the UK as the successful candidate will be in the position to provide a good volume of private dental treatment. Candidates must have a performer number with an English PCT or have undertaken Vocational Training in the UK.

If relocating Kingston-upon-Hull is a historical maritime city located on Yorkshire's east coast, within 1 hour of both Leeds and York. The city is also in the middle of a period of intense regeneration, boasting a new multimillion pound public transport interchange, exclusive city centre apartments, marina development, good recreational/leisure facilities and a recently opened medical school, amongst others initiatives and projects that have rejuvenated this friendly city's reputation. In addition both Leeds and Sheffield Dental Schools are within one hour by car or train.
Hull is also surrounded by the beautiful East Yorkshire countryside offering peaceful places to live in affluent villages and historic market towns such as Beverley with excellent property and amenities and schooling, boasting England's oldest state school, with a relatively low cost of living. In 2007 Beverley was named as the best place to live in the United Kingdom in an "Affordable Affluence" study by the Royal Bank of Scotland.
