Senior Microbiologist

The Person
We are looking for two Senior Microbiologists to join our clients Sustainable Processing team. To be successful in this role it is essential you have a PhD in microbiology, or be a graduate with relevant industry experience in the exploitation of microorganisms to solve industrial problems. Applicants with practical knowledge and experience in bioleaching or microbial biotransformation would be of particular interest.

The Role
You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and practical microbiological skills across a range of projects. The jobholder will help to define experimental programmes and take a lead role in their execution and delivery. The diverse nature of the projects run across the business requires an adaptable approach to problem solving.

The Company
Our client runs a technology innovation centre working in the Sustainable Processing and Printable Electronics industries. The centre uses market knowledge and technology understanding to develop and prototype products and processes quickly and efficiently with minimal risk to its public and private sector partners.
Our client builds and provides assets to prove concepts and develop and demonstrate technology to reduce the risks of scaling new processes. We create collaborative partnerships between industry, academia as well as the public and private sectors to leverage resources and reduce development risks.
