The position for Operations Supervisor in Cardiff is no longer available
Established Cardiff based client has an opening for an Experienced Operations Manager to be based within its Cardiff Site to ensure that the day to day operations of the business run smoothly. The role will be a key part of the management team and will be liaising closely with the administration supervisor and and sales manager closely.
The main responsibilities of the operations manager include handling the logistics of the organisation, preparing production profiles, general site health and safety, updating data and overseeing the supervision of employees. The job holder will be expected to harness a working environment which encourages team work, energy and creativity. To achieve this, they should have strong leadership and excellent problem-solving skills along with good communication skills.
This role requires someone with the ability to think on their feet and make quick decisions and be of strong character. Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidates must have had previous experience within a production, manufacturing or heaving industry environment. MUST have previous management experience and competent in getting a team working for them.
The organisation offer a good benefit package plus a bonus equal to one month’s pay in December upon achievement of KPIs set.
Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5pm (Early finish Friday) must be flexible with regards to work loads.
