Job Profile:

To effectively manage the SAP materials originating from Marketing, Product Design, Manufacturing and Procurement groups that require creation and changes to support Order to Delivery functions.

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

Strong understanding of integrated supply chain processes.

Experience and knowledge of supply chain principles.

Strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to drive the Material Master process across multiple departments within a business division.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve complex problems.

Understand company policies and procedures and solid product knowledge.

Qualified in Product Change Control, Material Planning Analyst or Logistics Planning Engineer.

College or university degree is highly desired.

Knowledge of SAP, PFEP, product change control processes and procedures.

Extensive supply chain job experience.

Previous experience as a Supply Chain Planning Analyst, Product Change Control Engineer or Logistics Planning Engineer.

You will need to have a background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management or Logistics.

APICS CPIM or CSPC national Certification highly desired.

Job Description:

Responsible for executing the end to end Material Master Process.

Responsible for participating with all process areas to ensure the end to end quality of the Material Master which ensures supply chain and plant production execution.

Collaborate with the Local Change Coordinator to process engineering packages and manufacturing changes including all NPI (New Product Introduction) pilot and ramp up projects and CPPD (Concurrent Process & Product Design) team involvement.

Collaborate with Variant Configuration Shared Services, Global Purchasing, Shared Services Accounting, plant purchasing, supply chain planners, logistics management, and quality managers to provide timely release and implementation of new and changed Material Master.

Required to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional groups in order to execute the Material Master Process by understanding the integrated nature of material master data.

Follows progress of material master creation and changes and provides guidance to resolve problems.

Assists leads from other process areas responsible for creating the material master records (purchasing, requirements, logistics, quality and accounting) when needed. This includes system support as well as an understanding of the end to end process.

Incumbent is responsible to achieve key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Timeliness, Accuracy, Efficiency, Cost Savings, Process Quality, Internal Quality Certification, Class A Certification, etc.

The position is challenged to quickly and correctly identify problems.

The incumbent generally resolves issues by following departmental guidelines or applying a solution that worked in the past. The team lead or supervisor gives general instructions on what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and how it is typically done. The jobholder knows in advance the details of what needs to be done to serve customers and the standard procedures in place to accomplish it.

Salary/Rate:

Up to £38950.00 per annum
