We are seeking Olympic PCV Drivers to support British and Brazilian broadcasters. The main work assignment is shuttling the broadcasting staff and reporters between their accommodation, and offices close to the Olympic park in Stratford, the various Olympic competition and training venues as well as other locations across London.
As a PCV Driver you will be responsible for:
*A safe, punctual and reliable transportation service to and from assigned destinations
*Language assistance for TV crews where there is a communication barrier (where required)
*Assisting the crew with their equipment and any additional support services required
To be successful in these roles it is essential that you:
*Hold a full and clean British Drivers Licence
*Hold a D (PCV) Licence
*Are at least 25 years of age (for insurance purposes)
*Have good geographical knowledge of the Greater London region
*Are a competent and confident driver
*Are fluent in English (Essential) and Portuguese (Desirable)
*Are willing to work for the duration of your assignment with no days off and are flexible as you will likely be working long hours and be available for call out's
*Are friendly and approachable, and excited to be working for a broadcasters during this unique sporting event
*Live or have an accommodation available in Greater London which allows you to travel to the Olympic Park in Stratford within one hour
*Are available for up to six weeks from early July, 2012.

*Minimum of 42 hours payment per week guaranteed (on a 7-day basis Monday to Sunday)
*Overtime rates apply after 8 hours per day

As you will be part of the broadcaster's crew, you may even be able to enjoy the spectacle of the Olympic Games at a sports competition venue occasionally, while waiting for your TV crew during their job assignment at the venue (not guaranteed, restrictions apply).
If you come from a background in taxi/bus driving or chauffeuring, this would be preferable.
