HR Assistant/Officer, Perm, Saffron Walden, £21,000
We are currently looking for someone to join a large company who are based in Saffron Walden. This is a permanent role which will be paying around £21,000
Advise Managers and staff on issues relating to personnel policy and practice.
Assist in promotion and achievement of staff engagement in the organisation.
Recruitment co-ordination including placing adverts, communication with applicants and arranging interviews. Working with line managers in recruitment interviewing and selection of staff.
Preparation of new employment contracts, completion of all pre-employment checks and ensuring starter checklists are fully completed.
Induction of new staff into HR practices and Society cultural and behavioural aspects.
Assist in managing employee relations issues and disciplinary and grievance matters.
Monitoring, recording and reporting of sickness absence, holidays and other leave in accordance with established practices. Liaison with sick staff member/manager on all aspects of absence tracking. Preparation of monthly sickness absence statistics.
Maintenance of all record systems and correspondence relating to past, current and potential employees, within statutory and regulatory guidelines. Ensuring that all employee records remain up to date, including variations to contract, and job roles.
General support to HR Manager.
HR experience, CPP or Part CIPD
