Description

We have a requirement for a Recruitment Co-ordinator/Assistant to support the activities of our client's centralised recruitment team based in Daresbury, near Warrington, Cheshire.

This is a 3 month initial contract with the possibility of extension.

Recruitment co-ordinator duties include, but are not limited to:
- Spreadsheet updating to record recruitment actions
- Advising line managers, candidates, Central Recruitment Team of all actions and requirements in a timely manner
- Arranging reimbursement of expenses for candidates
- Arranging rooms and resources for recruitment, including candidate accommodation if required
- Scheduling interviews with line managers and candidates
- Maintaining interview diary
- Chasing CV and interview feedback
- Chasing approvals to E Recruitment requests
- Maintaining approval status in divisional spreadsheet
- Making travel arrangements
- Screening calls
- Responding to general enquiries
- Processing E-rec applications using the internal E Recruitment IT system
- Processing HR in-box applications using the internal E Recruitment IT system
- Posting jobs using the internal E Recruitment IT system
- Completing tasks as directed by the Business HR Manager or Central Recruitment Team that support one-off recruitment events such as Job Fairs, graduate recruitment, assessment days.

Main Challenges of the recruitment co-ordinator:
- Managing time and available resource
- Working to deadlines
- Ensuring all contacts have the right information at the right time of the required quality
- Making sure all records are maintained so that recruitment stats are accurate

Essential Skills of the recruitment co-ordinator:
- Excellent telephone manner, clear and articulate
- Must be organised and methodical, able to prioritise work and sort and file paperwork/electronic records.
- Excellent standard of spelling and grammar
- Knows the recruitment environment and the pressures and expectations
- Is numerate and able to complete and report recruitment statistics using Excel and E Mail
- Has had experience of data inputting
- Previous recruitment experience and use of similar or same systems, Excel spreadsheets
- Minimum A Level standard or equivalent desirable
