Compliance Analyst - Canary Wharf

Looking for a skilled Compliance Analyst to join our team for an initial 2- 3 month assignment, with the possibility of extending it further, depending on the business need.

Person Specification
*Qualified to a Bachelor degree level.
*At least 2 years of compliance environment experience required.
*Additional finance qualification and / or finance background considered favourably,particularly any of the recognise accounting qualifications.

Job Description
*Conducts review and processing of submissions under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
*Conducts review and processing of contracts for compliance clause requirements
*Conducts review and processing of sensitive contracts such as those with customs brokers and delivery agents
*Conducts review and processing of sensitive payments
*Administers Delegation of Authority (DOA) system and answers queries on DOA. Advises staff on DOA and related issues.
*Helps ensure delegation of authority system is aligned with expense reporting system (TEA) and procurement (Ariba system).
*Provides support with compliance training tracking and coordination of face to face training.
*Segregation of duty conflicts (SODs): Advises the business, Blocks SODs where approriate, Designs and advises on appropriate compensating control, Approves Compensating Control where required.
*Assists with the conducting of annual risk assessments for the business on topics such as; Competition law, Antiboycott compliance and Conflict of Interest compliance.
*Conducts TEA expense reviews
*Other miscellaneous projects as required.
