HR Advisor/Generalist (Oil and Gas) Warwickshire – Perm - £30kpa – Benefits – Car Allowance
The HR Advisor will support the business managers on all aspects of HR with a focus on employee relations. The role will coach and guide managers on case managements issues such as disciplinarians, restructures, absence management, recruitment and performance management. Knowledge of current employment legislation is vital, supported by a proven ability to influence, implement processes and develop cost-effective HR solutions.
The role:
• Day to day operational work
• Work on Adhoc HR Projects
• Work cross functionally managing suppliers and communicating processes clearly
• Supporting Business managers with remote advice & guidance
• Travelling one to two days a week to support them
• Self starter with excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Able to proactively identify opportunities and influence others
• Oversee all HR issues for the Sales and Marketing function; this includes approximately 60 retail and distribution depots and the national salesforce covering approximately 600 employees
• The job holder will be responsible for providing accurate advice to Managers on many aspects of employee relations
• You will support and coach Managers in the holding of disciplinary and grievance meetings, and in managing absence
• In addition the jobholder will manage any consultation exercises, attend TUPE acquisitions, and prepare for and if appropriate represent the company at employment tribunals
• This role also has line management and development responsibility for an HR Assistant
Requirements:
The successful candidate will ideally be chartered MCIPD with extensive, broad based generalist HR experience, including experience at an advisor level role
The jobholder must have an excellent knowledge of employment law and have the interpersonal skills to influence people and issues at all levels
Commercially aware, the jobholder must also have experience of change management
Chartered MCIPD
Experience in Distribution, logistics, retail or sales and marketing
Multi site experience – UK Wide will be a bonus
