My client is an expanding Consultancy looking to grow their business with Trainee hires over 2012. They have been established since 2002, with both offices in London and Reading, and have an influx of business on the IT and Telecoms side hence their looking to expand.
The successful candidate may have previous sales experience whether it be telesales, door-to-door or fundraising, although this is not a pre-requisite for the right personality type. You need to have the energy to make 100-200 cold calls on a daily basis and can demonstrate resilience when dealing with rejections/objections.
The role requires effective management of the 360 process; securing new business and hiring requirements, negotiating on Terms and Conditions with the client, screening candidate CVs, conducting telephone interviews, devising job specifications on behalf of your client, preparing candidates for interviews and obtaining both theirs and client feedback through to closing both parties on an offer and negotiating salary expectations. Those who perform well in this position tend to be financially-motivated, goal-orientated, personable individuals with excellent communication ability.
The company is looking to award successful applicants with a basic salary in the region of £18,000 - £22,000 with uncapped commission. You will be looking at an overall earning prospect of between £30,000 - £40,000 in year one, £60,000 - £70,000 in year two and £80,000 plus in year three. Extensive training will be given with a 12 point career development plan alongside monthly reviews. The incentives available include a Christmas ski trip, top biller's lunches to Michellin star restaurants every month, a bottle of champagne on the first deal completed each week and spot cash prizes.
