Network Performance Engineer / Optimisation Engineer

An outstanding opportunity available within a global telecommunications company, looking to recruit a Network Performance Engineer for a position in the UK.

The client is looking for strong engineers with a background in 3G Optimisation and a working knowledge of Nokia, Ericsson or Huawei kits.

The responsibilities of the Network Performance Engineer would involve:

* Analysis of performance statistics both counter and drive based data
* Recommendations for parametric and or hardware configuration changes to Optimise performance
* Progressing optimisation initiatives and participating in projects to introduce new technology/functionality in to the network
* Production of summary reports on radio network performance
* 2G & 3G frequency planning
* Proactively investigate issues and problems that are relating to poor network performance and adhering to/implementing the latest performance and planning guidelines.
