An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding team member, to join the Global Marketing Capability team of a global Pharmaceutical company. This position is for a key team-player, who is willing to fully integrate into the team, and contribute on all levels.
The successful applicant will be a pivotal member of the team, and will make a major contribution.
An excellent administrator, with keen attention to detail, but someone who is also able to take on board projects, and take ownership thereof.
Someone who is not afraid to "think outside the box", and put forward their suggestions of ways of working.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:-
*The successful candidate will be fully involved in the roll-out of "The Marketing Way" and will get involved with:-
Extensive travel arrangements, across continents and time zones, including travel arrangements for external agency staff
Sourcing and negotiating rates for events, seeing the project through from inception, through to a successful delivery
*Office management - mail, office supply management, report coordination, budget management
*Prepare and submit expense reports for the team, ensuring that deadlines are met
*Manage sickness and holiday process for the team
*Source, collate and distribute information and materials for internal and external meetings

General Duties
*Extensive experience in a team administration role (team headed by at least senior manager level)
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
*Ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines
*Close attention to detail in all areas of presentation/document preparation
*Ability to work on own initiative, and independent of manage. Able to prioritise workload and make administrative decisions on behalf of the team
*Able to work with minimal supervision
*Act as an Ambassador for the department, confidently interacting with both internal and external agencies
*Accurate and timely budget tracking and control, with experience of purchase order and invoice systems
*Experience with extensive international travel arrangements, often with last-minute changes
*Manage diaries and e-mail for senior managers, ensuring that diaries are up to date, and that e-mails are flagged for urgent attention
*Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to interact well with all levels of management and staff

Qualifications
*Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and with outstanding creative and formatting skills in Powerpoint
*Project management experience - ability to manage projects and conferences, resolving issues and removing roadblocks
*Understanding of brands and marketing
*Experience of working with international teams

The successful candidate will work closely with the PA/Team Coordinator for the Global Design Team, covering for absences and will work as a team when planning major events, and in busy periods. Similarly, the PA/Team Coordinator for Global Design will cover for the Marketing Team Coordinator.
