Office Services Admin-Mailroom
My City centre client is looking for an enthusiastic, professional person to join their team. You must be flexible and hard working with a good level of customer service.
*Required to work with approved suppliers.
*General Postal Duties which may including manual handling.
*Processing out bound Royal Mail Special & Recorded deliveries.
*Signing, checking & recording deliveries.
*Prepared to work either post room morning or evening shift.
*Cross trained to cover areas of the Office Services dept during staff shortages.
*Mail sorting and organising deliveries and collections. Dispatching internal and external mail.
*Maintain and manage Newcastle office photocopier toner, consumable and fault reporting.
*Various office maintenance and DIY work.
*Manage group wide Royal Mail Relay SLA's, site moves / label setup, ordering & Pouch management on a daily basis.
*Tracking lost items and identifying unallocated post.
*Envelope enclosing both automatic and manually.
*Develop and maintain Office Services procedures.
*Reprographics, photocopying & Printing, Specialist finishing and design, Binding & Resizing documents - Guillotining.
*Banking cheques for Newcastle office.
*Helping out with various events such as office moves, co-ordinating activities,
*Manage group wide Business Response Envelopes (BRE) including proof management, cost management, stock levels, maintain BRE spreadsheet and group BRE licence management.
*On occasion being prepared to travel for meetings, training and despatch matters.
*Cross trained to cover all areas of the Office Services dept during staff shortages and holiday cover.
*Administrate publication requirements e.g. Newspapers, Magazines and invoicing for the Newcastle Office.
*Document destruction - Shredding & Recycling bins monitor and empty when full.
*Stationery ordering, stock control, price negotiation, group cost savings and group best buy recommendations.
*Key supplier account management - will oversee several accounts on a daily basis.
*Order and manage marketing material, account opening forms and liaise with customers.
*Recording and update accurately on to database.
*Must be available to work occasional weekends
