Contract Administrator - (Transport) Sussex

Our client is a well known and successful property, infrastructure, transport and engineering consultancy with an enviable worldwide brand of success and specialist skills oriented on Asset, Strategy, Cost, Commercial, Program, Project, and Investments Management.  They are currently involved with a number of prestigious infrastructure projects which currently includes numerous and complex works on the London International Aviation hubs.  They are now seeking a Contract Administrator with broad experience of Transportation, Utilities, and who is fully conversant with NEC 3 Forms of Contract.

Role:

You will provide contractual support and guidance to the Client and will perform Early Warning and Compensation Event entitlement review, review all correspondence and ensure that all contractual aspects of the contract are managed in accordance with the agreed Terms and Conditions.

The successful candidate will functionally report to the Line Manager and ultimately to the Manager of Contracts and Procurement. 
 
Requirements:

You should possess a Degree and ideally have Chartered Status
Relevant Contract Management with specific experience working with the NEC3 forms of contract
Project background including experience of Infrastructure, Transport, Utilities and IDEALLY previous major airport experience
Experience should also include managing change management, contractual disputes, correspondence and financial close out of contracts
Skilled in oral and written communication
Excellent IT knowledge
Intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes
Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialised instruction or practical experience
