My client is a leading Social Housing contractor with a proven track record in delivering £Multi-Million contracts for Local Authorities, ALMO’s and RSL’s, across Lancashire.
They are currently looking to recruit a Bid Writer, working for a main contractor in the construction industry. The markets in which they operate include response maintenance / void maintenance contracts, decent homes refurbishment, gas servicing and capital works. You must have experience of writing and winning these types of tenders.
Key Duties
** Working on your own initiative you will conduct research, interview contributors and gather information from a wide range of sources to construct a solid, well structured response to the clients PQQ and tender document.
** Assist the Directors and Managers in researching bids and establishing the design, content and timetable.
** Prepare draft and final documents in accordance with the instructions provided.
** Writing standard custom technical and descriptive text, images and illustrations.
** Update CRM systems as appropriate.
** Prepare bid reports for management meetings.
** Seek and obtain feedback on all submissions and circulate to appropriate parties.
** Manage the production of pre-qualification questionnaires and tender documents.
Ideal Candidate
You will possess strong technical writing capabilities, as well as organisational and project management skills, an eye for detail and meticulous proof-reading and communication skills both written and verbal, together with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Salary & Benefits
On offer for the successful Bid Writer is a salary of up to £40,000pa (dependant on experience) as well as other fringe benefits including car / car allowance.
