This maintenance and refurbishment contractor has secured a prestigious property maintenance contract in Conway North Wales.
The Quantity Surveyor will be instrumental in delivering a multi million pound refurbishment project to 12,500 social housing properties consisting of kitchens and bathroom and re - newable upgrades to Social Housing providers.
Key Skills required:
Client Liasion Skills
Evaluation of contract documentation
Setting out bills of quantities
Working to a schedule of rates
Site monitoring & progression reports
Completing and agreeing monthly variations and valuations
On going and Post contract administration
Working within a customer focused team
Good at problem solving and providing effective solutions to the clients and the delivery team
The minimum requirements of an applicant are:-
Experience in working in the Social Housing sector (preferred but not essential)
Degree qualification (preferred but not essential)
Experience of working with NHF schedule of rate
Experience of running numerous project simultaneously
Minimum 5 years structured experience
Full UK driving licence
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of large scale property maintenance and refurbishment contracts within the Social Housing Arena, and will have experience of the financial management and delivery of Social Housing Projects.
