Contracts Manager - Ground Improvement and Piling

We are looking to procure a Qualified Contracts Manager for a leading Piling and Ground improvement sub contractor.

Our client specialise in Piled Foundations, Ground Improvement, RC works and Basement Substructures, working for the major building and civil engineering main contractors in the UK.

Continued growth and recent success means that our client are able to grow and expand their Ground Improvement division in 2012.

Working along the Managing Director this role involves elements of business development, work winning, reviewing tender submissions, estimating, design and costing. You will be responsible for bringing in new business to the organisation and winning existing tenders, fuelling work for the operational teams. The ideal candidate will grow as the division grows and will ideally take over the division when they are ready.

The successful candidate will:

- Be experienced in ground improvement and piling

- Be a Qualified Civil Engineer. Chartered or approaching Chartered status desirable but not essential.

- Have at least three years experience in Piling or foundation design or ground improvement.

- Have a commercial understanding of profit generation and contractual matters.
