Quantity Surveyor/Estimator (Painting/Redecoration Contracts)

The Company:
A leading property services company, with offices nationwide, who work predominately in the Painting & Decorating sector. Clients include NHS Trusts, Hotel Groups, Registered Social Landlords, Local Authorities, Ministry of Defence, Royal residences, Universities and Schools, Care Homes, Theatres and Auditoria, Heritage organisations and commercial and industrial companies of all kinds.

The Role:
Require a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator for their Kent Office. Maintaining a portfolio of work overseeing all commercial aspects such as controlling material purchases/quantities, appointing Subcontractors, reviewing finances, monthly valuations, final accounts and monthly financial reporting. Ultimately you will manage contracts to achieve a contented productive workforce, a satisfied customer and maximise value & profit for the company. You will estimate for and review tenders, aswell as managing a small team of Junior Surveyors.

The Candidate:
Degree educated or a HNC/HND in Building, you will have proven ability as a Quantity Surveyor & Estimator having worked for recognised contractors who work on painting and redecoration contracts. Commercially aware, you will have excellent communication and written skills, aswell as being computer literate. You will have a driving licence.

The Package:
£40,000-£45,000 per annum and benefits including a car allowance.
