Our client is looking for an experienced, qualified, and degree educated Quantity Surveyor to work on a large commercial project. Our client is a large commercial construction company who is rapidly developing and growing. The ideal and successful Quantity Surveyor will have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:

- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Preferably worked for large or national main contractors with a commercial building background
- Stable and progressive career history
- NEC Framework
- P21 experience highly desirable    
- Healthcare sector background is advantageous  

The role would involve:

- Responsibility for calculating site budgets, monitoring any changes and reporting to senior management
- Put subcontractor packages out to tender
- Prepare cost estimates for all costs, including subcontract, materials and preliminaries
- Provide quantity calculations as required
- Minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality
- Based on site
