An fantastic opportunity for a skilled retailer to join a highly respected and market leading company in the role of Retail Visual Merchandiser.

Your key role will be to support the Shops Team with merchandise displays, manage compliance to promotional activity and to coach & share best practise across the departments with Retail Standards.

Key Accountabilities

– Support Head of Department Shops with improving Store Standards in all units.

– Work with the Teams to improve merchandising standards through visual merchandising display principles.

– Build relationships with Team and understand day to day requirements of each unit

– Support Resort Teams workload with key calendar event changes

– Drive compliance to Retail Promotions Calendar and Planograms

– Identify "hotspots" in all units for key merchandise displays or retail activity.

– Creative new display areas and coach Team on best practise.

You will be a driver of change who is able to research and identify with change in the interest of the business. You will have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and be able to embrace others and work as part of a team. You will take pride and care in your work.

A positive, assertive communication style will be required and you will be able to justify why change may be required with confidence and commitment. You will be required to travel within England and therefore will be required to drive and also undertake the occasional stay away.

This role would suit someone who has worked as a visual merchandiser, marketeer, or anyone who has worked for a large retail company and who is seeking an opportunity to work hands on with a team to develop the profile of a business. You will be able to make an impact quickly, possess excellent listening skills and be able to work to deadlines.
