ASSISTANT MANAGER, £21,000-£24,000 + BONUS & BENEFITS, NOTTINGHAM

My client is currently looking for an individual who has proven management experience and the ability to help drive the business forward. Successful applicants should have strong man management skills, a passion for delivering quality service and the ability to lead, motivate, train and retain a team of people.
As the assistant manager you'll be expected to support the store manager through your actions by setting the standards for sales, standards and customer service in the store. You'll lead the sales team in order for them to achieve their targets with coaching and development where required. You need to be able to lead from the front and set the example of what excellent should look like in the store.
Whilst being able to identify sales opportunities and acting accordingly is a key part of the role, you'll also be expected to set an increased level of customer service and customer interaction, the customer's need must come first, you'll be expected to spend the time getting to know your customer, identify their need and make recommendations accordingly.
