Purchasing manager required to join a leading engineering organisation in Dorset. The role will be joining a leading engineering organisation purchasing mechanical and electro-mechanical products

Commutable locations: Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Ringwood, Lymington and surrounding locations

Reporting to the Managing Director, the responsibilities of the role will include:

- Placing purchasing orders for mechanical and electromechanical products

- Managing inventory in line with the organisation’s objectives

- Ensuring MRP purchasing related data is accurate

- Maintaining purchase order status

- Reporting MRP data statistics as required

Purchasing manager requirements:

- Previous experience of purchasing mechanical or electro-mechanical goods

- Previous experience of working within an Engineering environment

- Knowledge of ERP and MRP systems

- Previous experience in negotiating price, service and delivery
