A leading UK high street retailer is urgently searching for a Project Manager with digital solutions, ideally e-books and mobile applications, experience. You need to be flexible to work odd hours (4-10 pm) but can be home based. Up to £60k + car + bens

We are urgently searching for a Project Manager experienced in delivering digital solutions, ideally e-books / eReader and mobile applications for a leading high street retailer.

The development is done by a third party so you need to be flexible to work odd hours, usually between 4pm and 10pm.
You could be home based up to 70% of the time, but need to be flexible to travel into London to meet the clients and the team from time to time. Some international travel may also be required, however may be very infrequent
Previous experience within a retail environment managing offshore developers would be ideal.

The project will cover many facets - delivery of the software solution, distribution of the devices, store training, liaison with marketing and commercial teams etc. The role may be permanent or contract, but needs someone to start as soon as possible.

Essential experience:
- Full life cycle Project Management experience delivering digital solutions like mobile phone applications or eReader solutions either on Android, I-Phone or HTC handsets
- Retail (online or high street) industry experience is very important
- Experience managing 3rd parties
- flexibility to work odd hours and to travel when needed

This is a very interesting role that provides a unique opportunity to work either from home or from their office in London delivering cutting edge digital solutions

Ideally my client is looking for a Project Manager that will join the team on a permanent basis but due to the urgency of the requirement, they may also consider a contractor for 12 months.
Salary up to £60k + car allowance + private medical health insurance + contributory pension and 40% store discount

For a contractor the rates are around £450-475 per day
