Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Pricing & Technical Manager, in this role you will be responsible for developing out catalogue content, ensuring that all work is completed within corporate brand, layout and style definitions. This will include:-

Pricing
* Ensuring that information within the re-pricing database is maintained to ensure accuracy
* Ensuring information inputted into the re-pricing database is accurate and current
* Extract and analyse data to provide reports to the system users
* Highlight any pricing issues to the relevant buying area, ensuring that the brand integrity within the re-pricing database is maintained
* Acting as the first point of contact to support any technical problems in relation to the operation of the re-pricing database.
* Escalate any issues that are not resolved within the agreed service level agreements
* Provide training where necessary to new system users
* Suggest improvements both process and system to manage workflow efficiency
* Liaise with Catalogue Production Managers and various departments to ensure all pricing information is updated.
* Proofing all documentation to ensure that prices are accurate and reflect any save messages.
Systems
* Work closely with E-Commerce to ensure web information accurate
* Develop effective working relationships with IT/Business change to improve understanding of system constraints
* Create, check, amend and load attributes, files and values into the Content Management system
* Constantly update your professional knowledge/technical expertise and systems knowledge/expertise
* Maintain user access privileges, and ensure all users have appropriate values and location points available.
* Making hierarchy changes and the addition of attributes when required
* Setting up catalogue contexts and price lists when required.
* Suggest improvements both process and system to manage workflow efficiency
Further responsibilities/approach
* Undertake additional project work or ad-hoc tasks as requested to achieve team objectives.
* Analyse information making recommendations where appropriate
* Present information tailored to the audience needs
* Remaining positive and upbeat in dealing with issues despite setbacks
* Adding value as a team member
* Think 'outside the box', challenging the norm when looking at solving problems.
* Produce spreadsheets, reporting and analysis as requested
* Deputising for the pricing and technical manager at meetings when required.
Candidate Profile- Experience, Skills and Knowledge

Experience
* Working within a highly time-pressured and deadline-driven environment is essential
* Working with pricing and pricing related activities
* Understanding of production and print process would be advantageous
* Full understanding of the catalogue production process and associated costs
* Working with data - manipulating data and presenting information in a constructive manner
Skills
* Highly literate - ability to identify key information, summarise key points, and write reports.
* Methodical and well organised approach- strong skills in planning, organising and managing workload for team is essential
* Strong IT skills. The ability to manipulate data in Excel is essential
* Stibo super user training is desirable
* Actively demonstrates a positive attitude
Knowledge
* Stibo would be advantageous
* Understanding of E-Commerce (email marketing- copy, content etc) would be advantageous
* Understanding of catalogue production and print process is essential
* Understanding of product database systems would be advantageous (e.g, Access and Visio)
