We are currently recruiting for a Store Manager for a fantastic Game Station store in Banbury. It's an exciting place to work with a great location, with the potential to deliver fantastic results and to progress your career further. It is initially opening to cover the peak trading season.
We are looking for a dynamic, inspirational Store Manager to play a key role in delivering even better results. You will need to have retail management experience and have a passion for providing state of the art customer service and maximising all sales opportunities. You will be able to lead, motivate and inspire your team.
Your key duties will be:
To organise and deliver an effective and efficient store operation, which exhibits professionalism and a commitment to exceptional customer service. To ensure an exciting and rewarding store environment is in store through the development and effective management of all store staff.
Key responsibilities:
Organise and manage the efficient and smooth running of store operations
Consistently provide the highest level of customer service
Ensure that sales are maximised and costs are kept within budgets
Ensure the store is managed to the highest standards when you are away from the store
Communicate at all levels and possess a positive, professional approach
Maintain high levels of presentation within the store adhering to company procedures.
Action corporate promotions and marketing initiatives
Motivate, train, encourage and performance manage all staff members
Accurately carry out all store paperwork, to include payroll, stock checks etc
Be aware of Health and Safety issues and instruct staff accordingly
Ensure all relevant legislation is adhered to at all times
Recruitment and development of staff
Communicate with Senior Management
Administer and complete payroll records for all staff.
Assist in the identification and recruitment of high calibre Deputy Managers.
Always ensure KPI's are maximised to their full potential and that costs are kept within budgets.
Maintain strict security control ensuring all security procedures are adhered to
Ensure that all employees follow all company policies and procedures About You:
You will need a proven track record of success in a management position within retail or a similar environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
To be self motivated and able to inspire others
The ability to inspire success and change within your team
Excellent customer service and the ability to inspire your team
The ability to coach and develop your staff members to success
The ability to make our customer's experience a truly exceptional one so they return time and time again
Confidence and professionalism
