You may not be aware that GAME and Game Station has recently been bought and a very exciting future lies ahead. We are investing in our key stores and bringing the best talent into the organisation to build the Number One specialist video games retailer in the UK.

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager for a fantastic GAME STATION store in Milton Keynes. It's an exciting place to work with a great location, with the potential to deliver fantastic results and to progress your career further. It is initially opening to cover the peak trading season.

We are looking for a dynamic, inspirational Deputy Manager to play a key role in delivering even better results. You will need to have retail management experience and have a passion for providing state of the art customer service and maximising all sales opportunities. You will be able to lead, motivate and inspire your team.

Principal Accountabilities
• Development and performance management of store team in line with business objectives
• Provide an excellent customer experience through high levels of service and product knowledge
• Contribution to the achievement of store targets as set by the company
• Monitor and protect stock and assets in line with company procedures
• Accurately complete all store administration in line with company processes when required
• Implement and maintain merchandising standards and pricing in line with central instructions
• Ensure clear communication of and compliance with company policies & procedures and legislative standards
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by line manager

Performance Measures

• Participation in the completion of the induction process
• Regular communication with staff
• Communication of business objectives
• Effective management of rata’s when required
• Deal with customer complaints in a timely and effective manor
• Process customer feedback
• Implementation of company promotions
• P&L
• Adherence to counter purchase and staff purchase processes
• Adherence to bulletin instructions
• Health and Safely checks
• Assist with Store Compliance and all other company policies and application legislation.
• Manage staff feedback
• Stock Counts, Stock Delivery and cash handling.
