Are you looking to kick start your marketing career within the driven and dynamic marketing team of a highly successful professional services organisation? Do you have the relevant academics, enthusiasm and adaptability to enable you to hit the ground running within a varied and challenging position?

If so we are currently working on behalf of a leading commercial organisation to recruit Marketing and Business Development Administrator to join them at their Birmingham city centre offices.

An ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of 12 months experience within either a generalist marketing administration position, or a business development role within the professional services sector (e.g. legal & financial industries). It would be beneficial if you have relevant industry qualifications to support this experience, however this is not essential for the role.

The successful candidate will provide support to the wider Marketing team, with particular emphasis on supporting the Business Development Director. This will entail hands on involvement in carrying out competitor research, assisting with producing pitches for new business, organising seminars and events, and production of communications materials.

The front of house team work closely with the marketing team within this organisation, so it is essential that applicants for this role are happy to get involved with the broader hospitality function. This will entail providing reception cover during periods of absence, assisting with hosting corporate events, and monitoring the efficient running of the client meeting room suites.
